Free printable Thanksgiving meal planner
The holidays are chaotic enough on their own, so if I can find a way to simplify things I am all over it! This Thanksgiving I wanted to make something that took some stress off and helped me stay organized (as much as you can be at least) with all the shopping, meals, cooking times, etc. So, of course, I had to make a printable just for that!
Use this planner to help keep things organized by noting who is bringing what, what items you need to pickup at the store, when certain items need to be thawed and/or cooked, and much more!
What’s included in the meal planner?
I know you’re wondering what the meal plan printable actually includes, right? Of course you are. Check out each section below along with some great tips!
Printable Thanksgiving Calendar
The calendar is perfect for making small notes on when you need to take care of certain things! Need to thaw out the turkey a few days prior? Write it in the calendar! Want to make sure you buy your eggs a week before so they’re perfect for deviled eggs? Write it in the calendar! Is grandma Betsy coming in the Thursday before? I’m sure you see where i’m going with this.
There’s also a small checklist and section for important notes so you can write reminders for yourself!
Printable Thanksgiving Menu
No Thanksgiving is complete without the actual food, so this is a vital part of the whole Thanksgiving meal planner! I’ve included sections for each course (appetizer, entree, sides, desserts and beverages) as well as a place to note who is bringing it!
So if you’ve designated that cousin Sam needs to bring dinner rolls you can add that onto the menu and place their name beside it. That way no one is bringing the exact same thing and the entire meal can be easily planned out!
Printable Thanksgiving Shopping List
Now that you have your recipes and your menu plan, it’s time to create the shopping list! Write down everything here that you need to pickup for the Thanksgiving meal.
I highly recommend adding items to the list as you add your recipes so you can keep things organized and then, as you shop, simply check off the item once you have it in your cart!
Printable Thanksgiving Cooking Schedule
On Thanksgiving day you’re going to feel overwhelmed, we all do, so make sure to use this cooking schedule to stay on track and know when things need to go in the oven (based on their cooking time), when things should be taken out of the fridge, and whatever else you need to add to help you throughout the day!
