I love yard sale season! Not only is it the perfect time to find some great deals but it’s also lemonade stand season! And I am a sucker for any kid’s lemonade stand, if you’re selling it i’m stopping and buying! My youngest is also aiming to host her own stand this year so, of course, in true “over the top mom” fashion I had to make her some signs!

These free printable signs are great to attract customers with the bright lemonade color palette and clear lettering so it’s easy to tell what you’re selling even from a distance!

You’ll find two printables included, one is the main sign advertising “Fresh Squeezed Lemonade” with colorful pictures. The other is a colorful menu your child can fill in with what they’re selling and the pricing! I know the cost of the products are going to vary depending on the area so I opted to make the template blank so you can fill in your own pricing.

If your child is looking to sell more than lemonade they can also sell small bottles of water, homemade cookies, popsicles and anything else they can think of! Let their inner entrepreneur go wild with what they can sell and offer.

Where to host a lemonade stand

As i’ve already mentioned, you know yard sale season is the perfect time to host a lemonade stand! But I know not everyone is hosting a yard sale this season but your littles may still want to host their own stand. Below are a few more ideas on when they can set up their own stand!

• In the neighborhood either on the sidewalk, in your front yard or at the club house. The best time for this is weekends or weekdays in the evenings when everyone is on their way home from work
• If you live in a small town you can check with your local government about hosting the stand on main street. Many will allow this with a special permit.
• Local park! Same with the previous option, you can check with your local government about hosting it at a local park where families are often gathering
• Kid’s sporting event! If you have multiple kids and one is in sports, you may be able to have your other child host their own lemonade stand for parents and visitors. You’ll want to check with the recreation department to make sure you have permission for this.

Supplies you’ll need for your stand

• Table big enough for lemonade and cups
• Plastic cups (i recommend smaller ones like these 5oz plastic cups)
• Lemonade mix
• Plastic pitcher with lid (because kids will spill haha)
• Coins and dollars to give change to customers
