This template is perfect to give your child a unique and custom letter just for them! You can mention something about a fun surprise, thank them for being kind and caring, or maybe have some fun explaining whats going on at the North Pole!
Elf Letter Ideas
In case you’re stuck on what to add here are a few fun ideas!
- Santa and the Easter bunny are best friends
- The reindeer’s favorite food is hot dogs
- There’s a hidden ice cream volcano under the North Pole
- Elf caught the reindeer having a karaoke night
- Rudolph’s red nose has “disco mode”
- Elves have an underground snowfall fighting league
Whatever you put on the letter is completely up to you, i’ve created it as a PDF template so you can easily write your message before printing it off! Or, if you prefer, you can print it off as-is and handwrite your letter.
Plus this template also includes a small envelope template you can cut out and piece together to make it even more “magical”!
What’s Included:
- Mini elf letter template
- Mini envelope for letter

Supplies Needed:
Below are the supplies I recommend to get the best out of your new printable!
- Bright White Cardstock (not required but makes it pretty!)
- Printer (this HP ones my favorite)
- Scissors
- Tape or glue for the envelope

Putting your letter together
Once you open up the PDF below you can type directly into the template with your personalized message. Once you’ve filled out your letter you’ll also want to make sure to include your child’s name on the envelope template.
After everything is filled out you can print your template and start piecing it together! The letter is pretty easy, the envelope does require some additional steps:
- Cut out the envelope
- Fold section 1 and section 2 down the middle
- With those folded, then fold section 3 and section 4 over section 2 and glue them down
- You should now have a “pocket” to place the letter in
- After the letter is inserted you will fold over section 5 to close the envelope

How to edit this template
This free PDF template is editable with Adobe Reader, if you don’t have this yet I highly recommend it for anyone! It allows you to easily fill out content, sign forms and much more. But even more than that, it allows you to easily edit this template with your own content!
Fill it out using Adobe Reader
