Free printable groovy classroom decor
I am a HUGE fan of fun and colorful designs. So when I was thinking of different styles to create for the printable classroom decorations i’ve been working on, of course I had to do some with a bright retro flare!
With this set you’ll get a few different posters to frame or hang as-is on your wall or classroom bulletin board to help little learners with their shapes, counting, days of the week, months of the year and more! Plus two fun and colorful posters with a positive message to remind them of how awesome they are.
Great for teachers and home!
If you’re a homeschool parent or even a daycare director, these are great posters to hang in your play room or class! Children as young as two can start learning their shapes and numbers, so it’s a great way to introduce them early on with these groovy designs!
Teachers will also love this printable if you’re looking to add a unique flare to your classroom! Hang the posters up around your room or on your bulletin board to help your students learn their basic shapes, counting and more. Their eyes are always wandering anyways, so let’s make something educational for them to look at!

Supplies Needed:
Below are the supplies I recommend to get the best out of your new printable!
- Bright White Cardstock (not required but makes it pretty!)
- Printer (this HP ones my favorite)
- Self-Adhesive Laminating Sheets (not required but sure makes the job easier!)
- Hanging picture frame (this one fits 8.5 x 11 matted!)
What posters are included?
This set of six colorful decor includes a few different visual references for little learners!
“Be The Light” poster
This poster is one of my favorites due to the saying “Be The Light You Want To See In The World”. It reminds children to treat others like they want to be treated and, even when things are tough, you can show fellow students how to treat others by your own actions!
“You Belong Here” poster
The reality is some kids don’t even feel like they belong, whether it’s in a group of kids (yes this happens at such a young age!) or in school. This simple poster reminds them that they do belong and they are valued.
Learn Your Shapes poster
This poster includes the basic shapes little ones can easily learn! From simple shapes like circles and stars to more difficult shapes like pentagon and octagon. The visual reference will help children to easily pair a shape with it’s name.
Days Of The Week poster
Each day kids can learn what day of the week it is by using this visual guide as reference! The days here start on Monday as, most students, will relate that to the first day of the week. So on Monday you can ask your students what day of the week it is and let them point it out!
Months Of The Year poster
Months of the year were always difficult for my kids to remember, heck even I forget sometimes! This poster lists the months from the beginning of the year to the end. So when a new month starts your students can easily relate to what month it is by following down the list.
Numbers poster
Numbers 1-20 are a great starting point for little learners! Help them visually see each number as well as it’s written out spelling so they can not only learn their basic numbers but also learn how they’re spelt!
How to print these posters
There are so many options to work with when it comes to hanging up these posters! You can simply laminate them to hang up around the whiteboard or add them to a simple frame.
Print it in a frame
You can print this picture as-is in a photo frame like the one in the supplies list above, this is a great at home option and allows you to easily switch it out at any time with new decor!
Print it in poster size
If you want a larger poster size of this print I recommend using an online or in-store option like Walmart’s print service or Office Depot’s print service where you can upload your own design!
