Peppermints are a great option for this game as they don’t melt but you can honestly use any candy you’d like, the smaller the pieces the harder they are to count! So if you want to be really difficult you can use these Christmas nerd candies to drive your players absolutely mad.
How to play the game
The candy guessing game is an age old classic and this one is no different, just Christmas themed! Fill up your jar with your candy of choice (if you don’t know any, no worries, i’ll add some ideas below). It’s super important to count how many pieces there are before you fill the jar (this is the tedious part but also the most important)! After that you’ll want to pass out the cards to the players and have them write down their name and guess.
You can give your players a day, weeks or even a month to play. The timeline is completely up to you! After all the guesses are in and time us up you’ll want to choose a winner by seeing who guessed closest to the total number. The closest numbers wins!
