Free printable reading log for kids
Does your child need some help staying on task with their daily reading goals? Many teachers ask that students read at least 20 minutes per day, and it’s even better if this is done with the parent. And of course just sitting there and listening to your child read can be such a great bonding time and allow them to work on their skills! My own girls and I love to read and make funny sounds for each character, I am big on teaching them to read with attitude as it really brings the characters to life!
Then, once the child fills up their form, it’s a fantastic idea to offer them a reward for all their hard work! if you’re a parent you can use these printable coupons for kids to reward them for reaching different milestones. Or teachers you can offer fun reward bucks students can earn for reaching a certain number of days/books and redeem for fun prizes!
Great reading log for students
Teachers I know it’s hard to keep kids on task and often times just asking them to read isn’t enough, you need a way they can easily track their progress to show that they’re doing it and as a gentle daily reminder! This reading log is fantastic for just that. With a place for the student’s name and parents initials it will be easy to track and turn in each week (or every few weeks – your choice!)
