This match game is perfect to give your child something fun to do this Easter! With so many different themed eggs your child will have fun matching each one and going on an Easter egg hunt of their own!

Fun Easter activity for kids
This fun and engaging activity is perfect for little ones 2-6yrs old (older is ok too!). Whether it’s a rainy day or if you’re just looking to reduce screen time and give them something engaging to do, it’s a great at home activity that you can do over and over again!
I love to pull these out for our youngest when I am cooking dinner, she sits at the counter matching her pictures and when she’s done we just mix it up and she starts again!

How to play the Easter matching game
Below you’ll find the link to the free printable which includes both a front and back sheet. I typically recommend matching games to be printed on bright white card stock to prevent them from being see through. However, if you don’t have that option available you can use the back sheet included and glue them together with a glue stick to prevent them from being see through when you play.
Once you’ve printed out your sheet(s) you can begin cutting! Cut each square on the dashed line to create your cards. Now you’re ready to turn them over and start matching!
You will want to set aside a place (at the table or on the floor) for this activity, unfortunately it’s not one of our on the go printables like our activity sheets but that’s ok! You can still spread out and enjoy this fun activity at home!
Pro Tip: Use laminate sheets to make this game reusable and not as easy to destroy/bend when little hands are playing with it!
What are the benefits of a matching game?
There’s so many great benefits to this fun activity, a big one being visual memory of course! It also helps kids improve their memory, focus, develop problem-solving skills, fine motor skills, social skills, and confidence, all while having fun!
Overall, matching games are a fun and engaging way for kids to develop a range of important skills while also having fun.
