Free printable happy mail notes
If you’re a teacher you are probably used to sending home notes or remarks in the student’s agenda about issues they had for the day. This is common and of course something the parents need to be aware of. But what about sending home positive notes as well? Notes that show the student their good deeds or actions are being noticed. Bring on happy notes!
This is not my idea, I saw a teacher friend do this and thought it was so fantastic and absolutely had to create a printable for it!
Happy mail for students
Kids thrive off positive reinforcement! It’s so easy to point out what someone may be doing wrong but when you start to focus on the positive things they’re doing ,and the good choices their making, it makes a world of difference!
These cards include sections to add your student’s name and select what positive action you are bragging on them about. There’s even a blank space if what you want to brag about isn’t included!
Once you add the basic info you’ll also want to fill out the note section to add more detail as to what your student did to deserve the happy mail. When you’re specific it really tells the student and parent they were truly seen!

How to use the happy mail cards
These notes are quick and simple because I know teachers don’t have all the time in the world! You can print off as many copies of these cards as you need, there are 4 per sheet so i recommend printing off a few copies and cutting them so you have them on hand for any given day you need.
Then simply fill in the student’s name, mark off what thing you want to brag on them about and include a note as to what you saw them do. Then simply send it home with the child or their agenda so the parent can see!
