When we first moved into our neighborhood a few years back we were “Booed” with an adorable Halloween themed basket full of fun activities and candy for the kids! I had never seen it before but immediately felt welcomed and excited for the fun surprise. I still have no idea who did it!
This year I knew it was something I wanted to continue, so of course a printable had to be made for it!
The concept is simple, you anonymously sneak some treats on a friend or neighbors porch at night or when they’re not home (so you don’t get caught). It’s a fun surprise for the entire family and a great way to pass on some joy to friends and neighbors!
How to package your Boo gift
There are so many ways you can package your gift, but the easiest way is one of those Halloween buckets you can find at any local dollar store! These are small enough that you won’t overwhelm yourself trying to fill it but also large enough to provide plenty of treats!
You can also grab a gift bag from the dollar store and fill that up! It’s a bit more flimsy than the bucket, so you’ll want to plan accordingly for that, but it’s a good budget friendly option!
This basket with all the goodies only cost me $12! And that’s the new dollar store prices haha.

Supplies Needed:

- Bright White Cardstock (not required but makes it pretty!)
- Printer (this HP ones my favorite)
- Halloween bucket or bag
- Filler items (candy, games, toys, etc)
Pro Tip: Use tissue paper to fill in empty spaces in your bucket!
How to create your Boo gift
Once you have all the supplies you need and you’ve printed off the printable templates below, it’s time to set it all up!
Add all your gifts (candy, games, toys, etc) to your bag or bucket and arrange it however you’d like. Don’t have enough items to fill it up? Use filler items like tissue paper to take up empty space!
One everything is add you’ll want to cut the “You’ve been booed” printable in half and include the main sheet/directions in the buckets. Then cut out the door hanger so they can easily hang it on their door to show others they’ve been booed!
