Easy printable game for your elf
The Elf On The Shelf is a fun tradition so many families enjoy, if you’re new to it then you may want to first read the Elf On The Shelf book, explaining how the elf works and the rules that should be followed.
The gist is that each night your elf gets into mischief, this can honestly be anything from simple ideas like them getting into the sugar to more elaborate games like this twister one. There are tons of ways to play and pose your elf!

- Bright White Cardstock (not required but makes it pretty!)
- Printer (this HP ones my favorite)
How to use this game
Printing and using this Twister game for your elf on the shelf is pretty simple! You’ll first want to print out the included PDF below which has the game board and the spinner board. Print out the game board as-is and place it wherever you want to position your elf.
How to make the spinner
For the spinner board you can simply glue on the black spinner so it doesn’t move or you can use a paperclip with the method below! This method works best with card stock, you can use regular paper it just may be a bit more flimsy.
- You’ll need the spinner (PDF below), tape and a single paperclip
- open the paperclip up to where only the last curve remains and use it to poke a hole in the middle of the spinner and board, this is where the paperclip will be inserted.
- Insert the paperclip through the spinner hole, then the board hole, with the long part so it is now on the back of the board and the small curve is on the top.
- Use a piece if tape to tape the paperclip flat to the back of the board.
- Now you can spin the spinner and the small curve holds it in place!
That’s it, super simple! But I completely understand if you want this to be a quick idea for your elf without all the hassle, I have many of those days. If that’s the case just go with the glue method above or skip it entirely and let the elf just play twister!
