Free printable back to school gift tags
The first day of school is tough for students and teachers (and parents but we won’t go there haha). There’s so much to get organized, new rules to learn, new people to meet.. it can be completely overwhelming! I noticed last year that my daughter’s teacher gave them small bags of candy on the first day to help break the ice and I thought that was such a fantastic idea! I mean, what kid doesn’t love candy?!
These back to school gift tags are a great way to break the ice with your students and give a little something special! You can use these on the first day of school or at open house to go with their packet of information, however you want to use them is completely up to you!
Sweet Treat Gift Tags
These gift tags are designed to look handwritten on a piece of notebook paper (to go with the back to school vibe) and say “A little treat to help make your first day sweet”. Super fun and cute and can pair with just about anything!

How to use your gift tags
Click the download button below to get your PDF printable, the sheet comes with 6 tags so you’ll want to print as many copies as you need. If you have 24 students you’ll need to print out 4 sheets (take note of page 1 being the intro sheet, you don’t want to print that 4 times!).
Once you’ve printed out your gift tags simply cut along the dotted line and use your hole punch to put a hole at the top. Tie your string around it and attach it to your sweet treat and it’s ready to go!
