Everyone knows and loves the tooth fairy! You lose a tooth, shove it under your pillow and wait for a fun surprise. More often than not that surprise is money but it can really be anything you want! We opt to just to $1.00 per tooth in our house, mainly because I know my kids and they would start yanking teeth for cash if we gave too much haha.

Well now you can have more fun with it and bring the tooth fairy to life with this fun printable letter from the tooth fairy! And don’t forget to check out our printable tooth fairy receipt to go along with your letter!

Editable letter from the Tooth Fairy

This template is perfect to give your child a unique and custom letter just for them! You can mention something about their fun surprise, thank them for the tooth, or maybe have some fun explaining what the tooth fairy will do with it (I tell mine she’s building a village). Or, my personal favorite, thank them for not having a cavity for once!

Whatever you put on the letter is completely up to you, i’ve created it as a PDF template so you can easily write your message before printing it off! Or, if you prefer, you can print it off as-is and handwrite your letter.

Plus this template also includes a small envelope template you can cut out and piece together to make it even more “magical”!

What’s Included:

  • Mini tooth fairy letter with border (style 1)
  • Mini tooth fairy letter (style 2)
  • Mini envelope for letter

Supplies Needed:

Below are the supplies I recommend to get the best out of your new printable!

Tooth fairy envelope instructions.

Putting your letter together

One you open up the PDF below you can type directly into the template with your personalized message, there are two style options i’ve included so feel free to pick which one you prefer! Once you’ve filled out your letter you’ll also want to make sure to include your child’s name on the envelope template.

After everything is filled out you can print your template and start piecing it together! The letter is pretty easy, the envelope does require some additional steps:

  1. Cut out the envelope
  2. Fold section 1 and section 2 down the middle
  3. With those folded, then fold section 3 and section 4 over section 2 and glue them down
  4. You should now have a “pocket” to place the letter in
  5. After the letter is inserted you will fold over section 5 to close the envelope

This free PDF template is editable with Adobe Reader, if you don’t have this yet I highly recommend it for anyone! It allows you to easily fill out content, sign forms and much more. But even more than that, it allows you to easily edit this template with your own content!

Fill it out using Adobe Reader

Once you download this PDF you’ll want to open it using Adobe Reader (free to use) and type in your child’s info directly into the PDF! Once you’ve added in your message you can print it off!
