Positive choice kids reward cards
There are tons of ways to reward kids at home for doing their chores, or in school for getting good grades. But what if we can focus on a different approach as well? Kids get in trouble a lot (mine included.. oh goodness do they ever!), from fighting with each other to poor grades to forgetting to to their chores. Honestly kids are human and just like us, we all make mistakes!
So why not put a focus on their positive choices? Things they do every day that often go unnoticed!
Kids will love this reward system
Did Sally hold the door open for a gentleman at the restaurant?
Did Blake hug his sister when she fell down and hurt her knee?
Did Jamie take out the trash without asking?
Did Betsy help a friend who was being picked on at school?
These are all positive choices that can be rewarded at home and at school!

What’s Included:
- 8.5×11 printable sheet with 8 positive choice punch cards
How the reward cards work
The premise is simple, when you see your child make a positive choice you add a punch on their card! Think of it it like a restaurant loyalty program, except your the restaurant and there’s no free sub at the end (or maybe there is haha).
The key here is though you hold the card, they don’t do something good and bring the card to you to fill out. These should be choices they make on their own and you notice and add to the card.
Once they get all their holes punched they earn the reward you’ve included on the card, whatever it may be!
Positive choice examples:
- Taking the dog for a walk
- Holding the door open for someone
- Helping their sibling without being told/asked
- Helping a friend without being told/asked
- Helping around the house without being told/asked
- Clearing the table after dinner without being told/asked
- Picking up something a stranger dropped
- Helping the teacher without being told/asked
The list can go on and on, it’s whatever you want your child to value as a positive choice in life! This is a great way to instill them making good choices naturally, in their every day lives.
